The Space

As stewards of a 100-year-old property built by the First Christian Church of Oakland on Ohlone land, Oakland Peace Center hosts and partners with BIPOC-led nonprofits working towards peace. This network of peacebuilders provides services for unhoused people, (group) mental health counseling, healing arts programs, (youth) leadership development, nonviolence trainings, and (interfaith) religious or spiritual guidance. Together, we advocate for and facilitate access to essential resources and opportunities for growth, justice, and peace.

As part of our mission, we make these spaces available to nonprofits at very affordable rates. There are a variety of spaces available for short or long-term use including large halls for gatherings, private offices, classrooms, and space for the arts. Use of the space should be in alignment with
the mission of OPC.
